You're becoming a picture posting fool Angel!

;) Thank you, thank you very much! :rotfl: I am so happy I finally can do this. Hope you are not too unhappy that there have been some "animals" in my pictures.:hug: How about jumping in and helping us get past 300. :yay::dance3:

I wasn't meaning that I didn't like the pictures with animals in them, I just thought Brandi had some pictures that were from areas of the resort that you don't usually see.

Remember these are NOT my pictures.... I am borrowing from the web...

Good morning, Js & Ks! :sunny:

Still here, I see!

Has anyone made the necessary "This thread is like the Energizer bunny" joke yet?

'Cause I'd really like to, but I don't want to be repetitive....

It is a closet, sort of!! There isn't much room in it since the vacuum, pack n play and (I think) an ironing board and iron are all stored in there!

Thanks. I guess we didn't miss a closet in the regular studio, unless my brain has forgotten there was one. I keep picturing the room we had last January and I can't remember one but I also don't remember what we did with our coats. Maybe there were pegs to hang them on :confused3 When we went to SSR in December I was surprised to see a big closet.

What is the difference between the Savanna View and Arusha Savanna view?

I am sure this has been asked several times before but I am still confused about it and can't find an answer that really makes sense to me since I have never been to AKL

We would like a good view of the animals but I don't especially want to spend the extra $30 a night unless is makes a significant difference. We are planning on going in Jan or Feb of next year or whenever around that time a decent discount or free dining gets offered. Thanks for any insight!

Did you see the maps Brandi posted? Arusha is the big one in the middle. The other savannahs are on the sides of the resort. The ones on the left side can also see Kidani. Some animals are restricted to certain savannahs and other animals are in each one. So, if you have a guaranteed 'savannah view' they can put you anywhere that looks out at the animals. Guaranteed 'Arusha Savannah' you'll definitely be looking into the middle of the horseshoe. I think Arusha can be nicer sometimes because there is the potential for a lot of activity and lots of ground to look out at. Some views of the smaller savannahs can be limited but the CMs are really good at putting food out to attract the animals so regardless of what savannah view you have you will see activity. Hope that helps.

:lovestruc I LOVE this picture!!! I wanted to see the hogs sooooo bad! I could only see them far away in the distance for many days and then finally over at Kidani they came a little closer. not that close.

Alison, I didn't think you ment that at all. I was just really excited because after being on the DIS since 2004 this was the first time I actually "got" how to post pictures. :yay: I am sorry if my post came across any way other than I was excited, happy, and trying to be funny.

Ann :)

Good Morning Everyone! :)
