I have an AKL question and I'm sure this is the place to get the answer! We have reservations at Sanaa; however, we want to go and tour around the main lodge to see if we would like to stay there next year. Is it an easy (short, downhill) walk to Sanaa from the main lodge? Thanks for any help!

....it's about a 10-minute walk from Kidani to Jambo House, but you can also take a bus (not sure if it goes from Kidani to Jambo, or vice-versa, but I'm pretty sure it does the forementioned thing)...oh, BTW, and JAMBO!

Thanks so much! I've always wanted to stay at the AKL. My husband, on the other hand, says it's too far away from everything and that CL rooms aren't on the same floor as the lounge. I'm hoping to convince him with a sight-seeing trip to the Lodge.

....EKG showed a little abnormality but the 2nd one showed nothing negative. The CAT scan was a 'thumbs up', the echo-cardiogram gave him a clean bill-of-health, but the jury's still out on the final blood test (they wanted to make sure he didn't have mono...)....we'll know by tomorrow.

Kim, How is Dylan doing today? Have you heard back on the blood work? Hope you are doing ok too!

We don't arrive until 11 days after your second part of the trip starts, that must be one heck of a long trip!

Good morning, again! It is a super busy month, unfortunately. But I am getting through it! I will work 7 days a week until March 3. That afternoon my younger DD and her room mate and I are headed to Richmond to see "The Lion King" and spend the night at the Omni there. DD went to college in Richmond and we have not spent much time since she graduated. We are very excited. And Bob gets to spend about 30 hours completely alone. He has not been alone for more than a few hours since January 17, 2011. I think he might be as excited as we are!
