Happy Valentine's Day. For us it is a day like any other. We got married on February 13th so we had our celebration yesterday. We had a lovely meal in an Indian restaurant near where I work. Today we are just chilling out at home.

Corinna

Happy Anniversary!

Hope you are all recovered from your DL vacation. And what a vacation it was :cloud9: Hope you and Fran have a great Valentines Day!

We have recovered, and in fact, I'm just waiting for Fran to get out of the shower so we can head back there for our special dinner tonight!

Just got back from a week in Mexico and it is cold up here! Going from 80s to 30s is hard.

Hope everyone has been having a fabulous week. I'm going to try and catch up on everything.

:scared1: Yikes! I'm glad you're back safe. I guess you were gone when the government issued the travel advisory for Americans to be careful when visiting Mexico. Makes me wonder if I want to go on the Wonder!

Where in Mexico did you go?

I was in Cozumel, an island off the East coast near Playa del Carmen which is south of Cancun. Never for a moment did I feel unsafe. Some friends own a place down there and they were so mad about the travel advisory since it really only pertains to a few pockets of Mexico and not the whole country. The last thing they need is for tourists to stop coming. I will definitely go back, had a fabulous time.

Hope your Valentine's Dinner is fabulous!

Great pics! Last year we had ADR at Saana, and hung out on the balcony overlooking the savanna for awhile. The food truck came by, and it was hilarious watching them all run after the truck!

....it's good to be back. My youngest DS, Dylan, went home early on Friday; we wasn't feeling well. He pretty much stayed in bed all weekend, but on Sunday evening came downstairs into the kitchen, where he told me that he felt like he was going to faint. No sooner than he stated that, he turned ashen and dropped backwards, hitting his head on the tile floor! Needless to say, we all rushed to him, putting a cold compress on his forehead and back of his neck, and gave him some Gatorade to drink. Well, we took him to the Pediatric Emergency Room at Hackensack Hospital, where I wound up spending the next 2 days with him. Thankfully, he is home now - the doctor's instructions were that he remain home today and no gym or strenuous activity for a week....

:hug:Good Morning Jamborinis and Kidanites! :wave2:

Kim, :scared1: We don't expect that from our kids. Glad to hear he is home and hopefully feeling a lot better.

Sorry to hear about Dylan.:sad2: Hope he feels better real soon. Did the doctor have a diagnosis?

Good afternoon, Js & Ks! :sunny:

 the pictures, Kathy!

....EKG showed a little abnormality but the 2nd one showed nothing negative. The CAT scan was a 'thumbs up', the echo-cardiogram gave him a clean bill-of-health, but the jury's still out on the final blood test (they wanted to make sure he didn't have mono...)....we'll know by tomorrow.

We have been to those ports twice now and felt a lot safer there than in LA and even here in Manchester. There is trouble in some parts of Mexico, but fortunately not in Cabo and Puerto Vallerta. These ports are gorgeous and the natives are friendly and welcoming.

We have been to Cozumel on a cruise in 2009 and spent a fantastic day at Chankanaab National Park.

What a scare. I am glad that he is out of hospital.

Kathy, Thank you for posting all the pictures. We have to check out the outside viewing area at Sanaa on our next visit. So many of your pictures look like they are from there.

Kim, Hope Dylan is doing well today. Let us know about the blood work results. Sending you a  for all you have been through the last few days.

Hey everyone, I have something new and exciting added at the bottom of the page. At least I think it is exciting! :)

Congrats on finalizing your trip! Looks like you will be there a little before we will so we won't meet up this time. Maybe next time!
