Fran feels a whole lot better than she did two or three months ago. We've been getting out of the house a whole lot more (why I'm behind on DISing). Mostly it's been work related, but as I type this we are on our way into Hollywood for dinner and Wicked. Tomorrow night we are trying out a "supper club" and the dinner will be at Napa Rose at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. It's kind of nice to feel like we "have a life" again!

Welcome Kathy, I have had a great experience with the Mara cooking breakfast to my order in my past stays. I have some food allergies which they were very happy to work with. I had eggs, ham and fresh fruit as my breakfast when we ate there. They also had some greek yogurt on one morning, not many so they may go quickly. Hope you have a wonderful vacation.

Thank you so much. I knew that the chefs at TS were happy to work with people who had restrictions but was not sure about CS. I will plan to ask if we can get something similar to what you had for breakfast at Mara. I love Greek yogurt so I hope that I can score some of that. Was that in the refrigerator section? I can run down separately (early) for that from our pool view room.

Good morning, Js & Ks!

Thanks to everyone for the excitement!!

The surgeon is delighted. The best he could offer without the surgery was correction to 20/70; Bob's eyesight without correction in his left eye is now 20/30! He will need new glasses but we popped the lens out of his current pair this morning. I had to put it back in because the lack of the rest of his progressive prescription made him dizzy. We can have an exam done in about a month to five weeks. It worked!

Brandi - I hope you are improving daily. That cruise is looming large!

Jen - Keep feeling better, please. I am on my second go-round with the winter crud. With temps in the upper 60s when we woke up this morning, and Wendy's storms that blew through here earlier, it is no wonder everyone is sick. Weird weather. I am not really complaining. I hate winter weather anymore and have delighted in the low heating bills the past few months too!
