Holy guacamole you AKL kids sure move fast.
Our Kidani trip is in May, the October trip is 2 nights at US/IOA, 5 night BCV and 3 nights VWL. We arrive on Disney property on the 12th and leave on the 20th.
Our trips almost completely overlap. The BCV are the prefect location for F&W.

I'm sure we'll run into each other during that time.
We did it pre DVC and it was definitely worth it, but we paid dearly for a Savannah view room. The coffees that I had each morning would have cost me $10 per cup when we got to the GF. Not to mention the bagels, strawberries, yogurt, croissants that we enjoyed at the CL Level

I'm 100% sure we'd get our money's worth especially with 4 kids and all but one have all of a sudden gained huge appetites.
Hmmmm, this is definitely a tough one. I didn't know about the limited Savannah View and that it wasn't guaranteed until I booked for my next September trip, but I'm not going to chance changing it. The convenience of being able to get a drink or snack anytime is just too nice. I'll be taking my DB and SIL who enjoy their adult beverages, so the savings for them will be wonderful. I'll be doing a Savannah View in March, so if we end up with the pool view in September I'll be ok. Have you done a pros and cons list? If you call at exactly opening time at your 7 month window I'm sure you can get exactly what you've decided on.
I have done a list and honestly, it's sixes. I view points in terms of $10 per point for some reason. I think that's because what they generally rent for.

Does anyone else do this?
We'd spend $100 per day in snacks/booze/and drinks in a day I'm sure
however the CL does not offer the things we always get like churros. popcorn, etc...So would I still buy all that stuff in addition ot their offerings? Probably. For me, the evening and morning offerings could easily make a meal but do the offerings change? Is there enough variety to not get bored for 5 nights/days? The booze is a HUGE bonus especially if we can each take 2 beers down each ata time to the pool. The after dinner drinks are also fabby because we spent $10 a pop this last trip for cordials/wine at the Hearthstone at the GCV nightly. $50 a night adds up fast. My ramblings

boil down to the fact that we'd get our money's worth- I have no doubt. I could order less from Garden Grocer for sure. We have become 1/3 resort people and 2/3 park people. Before DVC we were 95% park and 5% resort.
So that's where the view comes in. I have zero desire for a pool view at the AKV. None. Now at SSR, it would be perfect and I'd be stoked but at AKV I'd be disappointed..... I think.

Does anyone have CL pool view photos to share?
Last time we truly enjoyed the animals and drinking coffee on the balcony. Pure bliss.
I'm not sure about the number of dedicated 2-bedrooms on CL, the only way I found out about how many studio CL there are (5) was when I called DVC. I couldn't find it anywhere in my DVC paperwork, I could have missed it but I truly scoured everything. You could ask them, I'm sure they'd tell you.
I'm going to call MS tomorrow. Didn't even think of it. DH and I went holiday shopping all day. I fed him beer first at lunch to loosen up his wallet.
I haven't had a tag in YEARS...Tag Fairy doesn't fly around the wedding boards
I think mine are 2 years old. Where does the fairy prefer to fly? I got mine on the Community Board. I remember waking up to them and I screamed with excitement. DH asked what was up and when I told him, I think he peed a little from laughing at me.
