Is it true that if you purchase a ticket and later you notice the price goes down, that you can request a refund on the differnce from the carrier? And if it is true, do all airlines work that way? And can you only do it once? I think we'll be flying Sun Country.

THANKS

pretty much most of the carriers do this I am unsure of sun country you should call them and see if your ressie has gone down then request the difference back if it did! most carriers give you vouchers for the difference to use towards the purchase of another tkt in the future. good luck let me knwo what they say!) I am unfamiliar with them except as used on charters from pittsburgh!)

We're not going till dec. 2002 so I'm in that waiting game. I'm teh type that like to have all her ducks inj a row WAY in advance so it kills me to wait for things. I hate doing the fair watch. But if they only give vouchers...I may not do it. I'll find out though.

Sun Country is trying to get a full service business out of Minneapolis/St. Paul and since Northwest has cornered the market here, I really want to help out the other little fish in the pond as much as I can. But you're right...Sun Country is know for charters.

THANKS

I made ressies on Northwest in Feb. for our Sept. trip. My son will still be under 2 and I guess I didn't realize that they charged me full fare for him. I called back a month or so later and got it changed to half-price with no problem. The fare had also gone down and I received a voucher for $38 for the difference. I didn't know they did this either. I didn't think it would pay unless the amount was more than the $100 re-ticket fee and you could gain something there. It worked fine, no problems.

Sometimes it's not a cash refund but a "cash" value voucher for use when purchasing later airline tickets.
