I was originally planning on applying for spring session 09, but I'm thinking doing fall session 08 would be interesting, too...

I know a lot of people have already got their acceptance letters and all... but what would my chances be of getting in, so-to-speak... have a lot of positions already filled up, or would I still have a decent shot?!?

No. It's not too late to apply. But if you do plan on doing Fall 2008, I would apply soon. Otherwise the more popular positions will be filled.

Definitely not too late, since recruiting will be doing presentations through mid-April. However, the amount of positions left in very popular roles (like Joanna mentioned) become more and more limited as the date grows closer.

Applying sooner rather that later would greatly increase your odds of being offered a position in the role(s) of your choice.
