Is it too early to book restaurants?

We're going from 14-18 April and as a tradition we always have a meal at Cafe Mickey on our last day and dinner in different restaurants during our stay...

Do you think it's too early to book the restaurants? I remember booking last year in May for our trip in July and when we got to DLRP the booking wasn't valid. We did manage to eat where we wanted but still...

What d you think? Shall I wait a little longer, like book mid-March?

You should be able to making a restaurant reservation at a table service restaurant 2 months before the date you require
