Going from the 23rd-27th of December, taking the wife and kids and the kids are well just not that excited. Wife hasn't said much.

Me well I am not doing anything from now till then so maybe I'll go down early and get stuff set up for them:lmao:

I find it funny reading posts such as this because I just cannot WAIT to get to Disneyland! Sure, I've never been to the US, and this is my DD's first trip overseas and I've been saving my annual leave days all year for this trip...but it's Disney, and I think EVERYONE should be excited, even if you go every 2 nd day for a year!!!

Tell your wife to get excited or I'll come over early and take her place! :rotfl:

Maybe the excitement will rev up when the kids are out of school?

Well I am a student and school is done so I can surf here and I think thats fueling me.

I think you are right about the kids. My youngest 2 are 6 and last time at DL was 4 years ago. I think once there it will be wild.

You have twin 6 year olds! WOW. I have trouble keeping up with one! We are taking our 6 year old son for his first trip from the 25th to the 29th. I was a Disney baby started going in the early 70's and have been to the MK 25 times or more, My DH went once as a child and once with me & my DD before our son was born and we moved to Montana.
I was kind of feeling as you are not really enough enthusiasm from the DS. So a few weeks ago we started watching one youtube Disneyland video every night just before bed instead of a bedtime story then we would chat about the ride/attraction for a few minutes. Now he has a whole array of Disney topics to talk about and all the things he can't wait to do like having breakfast with Goofy, Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters etc. If they are six and you last went 4 years ago they are now big enough for so much more and really how much do they remember from when they were two? Also we have been really watching some of the Disney movies he hasn't seen 2000 times so he will be able to recognize the characters and "GET" the themed rides when we are there (Ones like Mr Toad for example). Also check out disneyfamily.com for crafts and cooking projects, we made Mickey mouse pancakes and disney ornaments for our christmas tree for example. Just do something Disney with them that is fun RIGHT NOW not in a couple of weeks 6 year olds are NOT known for patience. Last tip....Make them a calendar that they can put stickers on or just mark off the days my son can't wait until the day is over so he can go to the fridge and check off another day then count how many are left. Hope you all have loads of FUN when you get there.
