We haven't had this happen yet (Our first trip is next year) But I would wear them proudly-
We wore our Carowinds shirts that say 2003 this past year- along with Kings Dominion Shirts to Carowinds that had 2006 on them- I figure some of them are "bragging rights" We have been here before and during "this event"- And others are just too darn cute not too wear anymore...
An idea I have for our shirts after we wear them now- The kids are getting bigger and yes, the years are going by- For each child I am making their shirts into quilts that they can use all the time- We will be doing this from our Disney shirts once they are favorably worn as well-
Another cool thing to do is make pillows from them- Or a wall hanging- sew about nine - twelve panels together and add loops at the top for a hanging bar- very decorative and holds many memories- You can even add a family pic to the center as a memory- on the quilts you can also add family pics in between shirt designs- even pics of them wearing the shirt at a ride, event, etc- Those old year shirts will get nuch use at our house! Don't worry if you can't sew or quilt- many places you can take your items to do it for you (of course paying for it)- but many things are very easy to do and come from the heart- a pillow... cut the panel from the shirt giving yourself a bit of extra for sewing- you can use the back of the shirt as the back of the pillow or get a coordinating fabric- sew 3 sides together and buy a pillow form or even batting to stuff with and sew the last side- if you are crafty- add some fringe, crazy yarns, even many different Disney themed linings available at the fabric store-
But for now- Wear those shirts! Be proud you can say you are a multi-visit patron and lover of Disney!
Hope the other ideas mentioned have given others ways to use their shirts later-
