Is it still possible to pick up your package tickets 3 days ahead of time?

In the past, we have booked free dining but traveled when convenient and picked up our park tickets early. With all of the Fastpass +, I was hoping to make FP+ reservations 1 day prior to my package. I tried calling and was told some information that I knew to be incorrect (CM told me to have TA move my tickets from my package to my room only reservation). I know that can't be done. So my next step was to call ticketing and see if I can still pick up my tickets early. She said that with the bracelets I will have my tickets ahead of time but they cannot be used until the first date on my package. No more getting your tickets early. Is this correct?:scared: I really hope not.

Thanks for the help.:wave2:

It's pretty much everyone's opinion that any Disney phone rep you speak with will tell you "no" to picking up your package tickets early.

However, you CAN pick up your tickets up to 3 days before check-in. Go to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks (just outside the gate) or DTD. Have resort package info with you, and photo ID.

Your dining credits on your MagicBand can't be accessed until you check in.

Thanks so much. I know I cannot access the dining credits but I wanted to use the tickets. I guess no luck in booking FP+ ahead of time though. Thanks so much for the information.pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Do you see your package tickets in MDE? Since you have a room only reservation, I don't see why you could not do FP+ at 60 days if you have tickets that cover the number of days.

We are staying 9 nights and have 7 day tickets. We don't hit the parks on travel days but I wanted to use 1 day of tickets 1 day before our package starts. I bet if I keep calling someone will be able to do it for me. Maybe I am wording incorrectly. They said I need a valid ticket in order to book fp+. Stinky thing is I want to move my days around but I am afraid to give up what I have until I can secure it on a different day. Our package starts on August 20 but we arrive on August 18. I see our package tickets and all reservations are connected through MDE.

As I posted above, you can pick up package tickets up to 3 days in advance of check-in. However, it has to be done at WDW Guest Relations, in person. I haven't read of anyone able to book FP+ for dates prior to a package stay, using that package's tickets, except when the package tickets were picked up in person in advance. And when package tickets were picked up 1-3 days in advance of a package stay, that was very little time for planning FP+ bookings.

No Disney CM you speak to by phone will tell you that you can access your package tickets in advance of your package stay. They seem to be trained to say "no." Therefore, they will also tell you there's no valid ticket for you in advance of your package stay, unless you buy expensive one-to-three day tickets just for those days in advance of your package stay.

I would love to hear from folks who could book FP+ in advance of a package stay, using those package tickets.

I was able to do this. I had a room only at All Star Sports for one night and then a package at POR for nine nights. At my sixty day window of the All Star Sports reservation, I got online to check in, and was also able to book all of my fastpasses for the whole trip.

I have sinced cancelled that trip and rebooked it for October and I am hoping to be able to the same thing again.
