Is it snowing where you are - in the northeast?

DD called to see how hard it was snowing up here - but - it's not.. LOL.. Snowing pretty good at their house (sticking to the lawns and slushy on the roads - but will surely melt off quickly).. This morning she called too and said they were having quite a bit of decent size hail at that time - after some heavy rain..

I was up at 5:10 am this morning and it wasn't doing anything.. When she called the first time (around 11:30 am) it was raining - but not a heavy rain at all.. A little while ago there was a little light hail - now it's back to raining lightly.. Of course it could be an entirely different situation on the other side of the lake (wouldn't be the first time), but so far, so good..

By Wednesday, we could be having upper 50's (with full sunshine) for at least 3 days.. That sounds like good weather for people to at least get their outdoor Christmas lights up - even if they don't turn them on till after Turkey day..

DD thought sure I'd be having snow here..

Snowing here. Before the change over the rain on our deck had frozen over. I have to head out to Lake Desolation for work soon, but I'm driving the Hummer today.

Headed south to the Florida home the day after Thanksgiving. Can't wait.

I'm near Philadelphia and it was sunny until about 30 minutes ago... but my DH is working in Bergen County, NJ and it was sleeting/snowing there at 10 am

We're not over last winter yet , had 30"+ snow at one time and so much ice last year it totalled our heat pump and had to get new one.

It's damp and raw here, but no snow yet. We're hoping to ski on Thanksgiving, then go to a restaurant for dinner. The snow guns were going last week at Bretton Woods.

I just drove from Rochester to Saratoga. It was fine (just a little rain east of Syracuse) until I got off the thruway in Amsterdam. Driving from Amsterdam to Saratoga it was funny to see the grass along the side of the road. In some areas, there was a good 1/2-1" of snow, in other areas, there wasn't any! It's definitely hit or miss. It's gross here in Saratoga, a slushy mess!

I know Rochester is supposed to be 60 and sunny on Thursday! I can't wait!

Greed.. Plain and simple.. I'm rethinking that whole "keeping the snow for you" thing now..

Well - at least it's still not snowing right here at my place..

I did have to go down to the mail box though (took the car, but of course had to park at the end of the road and get out) and I have to say that the rain certainly felt plenty cold enough for it to be snow instead.. Not going to worry about it though.. Still have my eye on that forecast for Wednesday!
