Is it really worth it?

I'm a going to get a BBA in Finance and possibly go for a Masters. Would this program really be worth doing just to have the name of Disney under my resume?

I would possibly also be missing a semester of school, but I'm sure I could make it up during the summer.

I'm really just looking toward long-term advantages for this program.

You are the only person who can determine if it is "worth it" or not.

You may want to look into the Professional Internships first and if there is one that you would like to do and then if it requires previous CP experience, then that may help you in your decision making.

Ok then let me change my question a little bit.

What are my chances of getting into a PI where the CP is recommended, but not necessary, and I don't do the CP?

From what I've heard, you have equally little of a chance of getting the PI as somebody that did the CP, and maybe even less than them.

My sister has her Master's and got an awesome job for the government. Her interviewer obsessed over the CP and asked her a lot of questions about it. I interviewed with a company and during my first interview, the woman said not to focus too much on it when I got to my second interview with the higher ups (I'm in Fashion, so that's probably why). For those who have heard of the program, they are whole heartedly impressed if you finish the program without being fired or self-terming. It's not so much the skills you pick up from serving food, or operating a ride, it's the dedication and perseverance you have for getting through in the program.

hey! i am on the college program, and i have to say that it truely isn't worth it. there is nothing on the college program that is geared towards finance, ans school is more important than walt disney world. honestly. Disney will ALWAYS be around!
