Is it really worth $25 a day to park at Walt Disney World?

I am very disappointed that Disney charges on-site guests to pay for parking. On-site guests pay high resort prices and making them pay for parking just seems like price-gouging to me. Soon, I am sure, Disney will start with "resort" fees. We will stop visiting, like we do yearly, when all the fees are not worth the trip to WDW anymore.

What is most people's opinion for those that are staying off property, is it better to use the parking lot or to us uber/lyft?
