uhhhh no, i'm saying that these sellers who are greedy will likely have quite a bit that are received damage and they will have to refund their buyers. They can probably get insurance money back which will cover the refund to customer but then they're still out the money they paid getting them from the parks.

Most of those people who purchased those things are AP holders. When I was living in Orlando and I had an AP, we would sometimes go for just dinner and ice cream. One time I went to get my niece a stuffed toy she really wanted that they only sold in Disney.

You are totally mis-reading what I posted....
I'm talking about the people who are apparently buying 25 plus however more they can get their hands on for reselling purposes only.

I am a seller on Etsy so I ships things A LOT - most of which are wood blocks so they don't get damaged but things gets damaged so easily in the mail and I can tell you those wheels on those buckets are a shipping disaster and I'm not sure those resellers thought of that.

We were in HS on March 18th and talked to someone who had just bought one. They checked every popcorn vendor and only one had any left. Had I known they were such a hot item I would have bought one then. The following Monday there were none left.

Yes, some sold higher but there are plenty in the $30 range to be had was my point.

The ones I saw are still active and bidding is at $30. so final price will probably be well over 30. + 10. Shipping.

I personally wouldn't buy unless I got it in the park as a souvenir. It's just not the same.

I don't think he did anything wrong either. The problem isn't the people selling them, it's the people buying them. If there were no demand, they wouldn't do it. Then again, I don't think Disney is awful for not putting stricter limits on them. It's just the way it is. Really, even with stricter limits those who re-sell would find a way to get them. The only solution was to produce more and for whatever reason- they didn't. I don't believe it was to create false demand that they could not satisfy. My overriding thought on this is- it's just a popcorn bucket. Maybe that was theirs too.

Sooo, the people who really wanted one, but couldn't get it because Buckethead bought 50 at a time, should be blamed for going to eBay to find one, even though there weren't any to buy anywhere else. Sounds fair.

I understand the point that if nobody bought, there'd be no market. But it's kinda ugly to "blame them," IMO. The folks who are trying to make a profit off other guests are the ones I'm going to be irritated at; sorry.
