Is it really true they are out of Cinderella carriage popcorn buckets?

I read on a couple of Facebook groups this was the case. Wondering if it is really true and if/when they might get more. Also, does anyone know if there is any chance the actual carriage will be at HS any longer than originally planned?

I hadn't even read a report of them showing up in the parks yet. :(

Disney seems to be loving limited releases of stuff these days. So frustrating.

If it is true, I don't get how they would allow one guy to buy a ton of buckets and walk out with them. The pictures posted where not a guy carrying 5 or 6, he easily had 50.

Wow that was fast! I hope they get more in soon- we were looking forward to buying one on our trip in May.

I didn't see any a few days ago when I was there. The carriage is still there, but didn't come across the popcorn buckets.

Their suppose to be coming to MK sometime soon if they didn't already. Didn't see one at MK. Only the mine train and dumbo

Well, they are indeed listed on ebay and listings say they are sold out in the parks. I think if they ever really showed up we would have seen reports of it. I bet they all got sold before they really hit the parks.

VERY bad show Disney for not even trying to make enough of these. What's the point in just making enough that a select group of people can snap them up and mark them way up. What's in that deal for Disney? And they know that's what happens. :(

They we there in the parks, but like posted above some guy basically bought most of them all out so he could sell them on eBay. Disney should put a limit to the amount a person can purchase at one time. It's the only way they can solve a problem like this.

They were in the parks as of March 13 and sold out that first day and then the rest of the shipment arrived and sold out again in less than 48hrs.

It was not one guy but many resellers buying 25 at a time. Tha was the limit, 25.
I bought 2 in the park.

Well, that's as good as them never being in the parks.

Seriously? A 3 day supply? I'm annoyed with the people buying the big quantities, but there's no way they had anywhere near an ample supply if they an sell out 25 at a time in 3 days. There aren't THAT many people buying 25 at a time.

How many of those Dumbo popcorn buckets do you think they produced? I bought mine 2 years ago and they're STILL around. Instead of making a million of one thing and a thousand of another, how about a couple hundred K of each?

Disney knows this happens. They need to:

1) Make it a limit of 2.

2) Make more

3) Don't feature it in a blog if you're only making a 3 day supply.

Agreed my DD was upset last week no buckets to be found. We checked often.

Good luck on your trip

I'm bummed your daughter didn't find one. That's ultimately what it's all about.

Thanks again for our reports last week. I'm glad you're still posting.

I hope you had a great trip.

Good grief, I can't believe they sold out so quickly. This is so disappointing. :sad:Wishful thinking, but I hope Disney gets them back, and has truck loads of them so they will be worthless on ebay. My vent of the day.:headache:

Ugh. I don't understand why they would even allow 25 to be purchased by one person. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed they have them while we are there. Good thing I haven't told the kids about them.

A) I stood in line with the 'famous' bucket guy.Total shmuck. He had 6 already on his shoulder before he bought the 25.

B) I also saw 6 other resllers with their allotment all within an hour timespan. How many times did they do that? And how many more came through? Those personL shopper services know tons of people they can call on to come get 25each.

C) they allowed 25 because originally it was called a limited release. Limited release collectibles are allowed to be purchased up to 25 at a time. Limited Editions are only allowed 2 per person.

D) multiple managers said they are not allowed to refuse a sale so they couldnt force the resellers to stop.
