I have a quick question, and hopefully y'all won't mind me asking. My mom and I are taking my 11 y/o high functioning autistic DD to WDW for a 9-10 day trip Nov. 25-Dec4. We are planning to switch Disney resorts anyway after a few days, because I really got a great rate for T-giving w/e at the Dolphin but also like POFQ. We were planning to switch resorts Mon. am. We would also like to visit IoA at least, and were planning 1 day there, primarily to see Suess landing and WWoHP. Our strategy if staying offsite is to be there before RD, head to Ollivanders, my mom go to flight of the hippogrif while I do FJ, then check out Suess landing, have lunch, and look in the shops in the afternoon- from what I've been reading it starts clearing out a little around 2-3? Anyway, since we're switching resorts, it's theoretically possible to spend a night at RPH or PBH in between. I'd rather not stay at 3 hotels if it's not really needed, but at the same time if it will make the experience easier for DD I'll definitely do it. Along the same line, we were planning to skip Universal since I didn't see much DD would like; but am I missing out on something worthwhile? (I was at Universal a few times, but it was soon after they opened, way before IoA or kids, so my memory is fuzzy- I have lots of memories of Jaws, Blues Brothers and the Irish pub- actually, that might explain the fuzzy memory)- I'm definitely open to suggestions from those who are more "in the know" than me- um, pretty much everyone on this forum, I think. TIA!
