Is it really hot & humid in late September?

We have always visited WDW in late October/early November. This time we are going late September. Is it hot & humid then?

Last year we went the last week of Sept. (our 1st WDW trip). Going again, same time, this year!
It was hot and it was humid, but not terrible. It rained for a short time everyday. I see you're from NY. Long Island or Upstate? If Long island, the weather (hopefully) will be like it was earlier in the week, but not as cool at night.

Hello fellow New Yorkers,

I was interested in similar info as I usually travel to WDW in May to avoid the crowds.

Looking at a trip in late September instead next year. Has hurricaine season usually diminished by then?

Been there 3 times in late September and it was at least 90 --- I though it was pretty hot and somewhat humid in the afternoon, but AMs and eves weren't too bad. It was much more tolerable than late August! It was very common to have a shower, usually less than an hour.
