yes. cats and dogs here. all day long! My DD6 went to the zoo and didn't wear her rainmac, which was in her bag! They even had a picnic outside.

Oh my, dare I say we have had a lovely day today. It was DD's school summer fair and it looked like summer!

It has not stopped here today - the girls have been in rain coats and wellie boots all day. Eldest DD couldn't go outside for either playtime at school so she really wasn't happy! but then the head gathered all 150 children in the hall and put the birdbox cams on the big screen - they watched the birds taking shelter from the rain. DD loved it.

My mum and dad are near Newcastle and they had no rain but half an hour down the road and we have it although I'm pleased to say it didn't start til 5pm

Yep, it's horrible and miserable here too. I'm fed up of it, and I feel so sorry for the kiddies who have got school Sports Days coming up

Well we have had lovely sunshine all day until 6.30, why am i so precise? *** thats when my DH came home with my lovely new patio furniture and it started pouring down then....Grrrrrr...... and its nearly the second week of our school holidays and the weather hasnt been that great except today!!!

We have had rain all day but my niece insisted on going in the garden to jump in the puddles.

One advantage to the rain is that I haven't had to water the plants & the burnt grass is now green again

It's dry today but it did rain since being home.
It doesnt feel like July either,its ridiculous.
Mum said it hasnt been any better when we was away coming from there weather to this is a shock

It's sunny here today - to car said 19degrees when I left home at 10.45 this morning so I bet it's warming up nicely now! Another hour of work and then I think we can go to the play ground when I get home!
