Is it Possible to Walk from BCV to the Front of Epcot (Without Going Through Epcot)?

I've seen many threads on walking through the International Gateway to get to Future World/the Monorail. but I'd like to know if it is possible to walk from the BCV directly to the Epcot monorail.

I'd like to avoid the buses, and so would prefer to take the Epcot monorail to MK in time for the opening of the MK (and so before Epcot opens.) How long would it take to walk to the monorail? Is it a safe walk? (We'd be pushing stollers and wouldn't want to expose small kids to crossing big roads dangerously.) Thanks for any help anyone could give me.

While it may be possible, I can't see it being either safe or practical given the amount of things you'll be taking with you. I'm reasonably sure there would be no sidewalk for some, if not all, of the walk.

IMHO it's going to be much easier, safer and quicker to take the bus direct to MK.

Anything is possible, but what you are suggesting doing is really not. Take the bus or call a taxi.

There are no public walking paths, and the road between BCV and the Epcot entrance is a little more highway like than you'd feel comfortable walking next to.

I'm not even sure that the monorail would run to EPCOT if it weren't open yet...

No you would have to walk along the highway going to Epcot - or even along on of the most busiest of WDW roads - the road in front of Studios/BW/D/S - I pretty sure that the security people would stop you before got very far.

there is a reason you don't see people walking along the roads at WDW. -

If you want to schedule a morning at MK on a Wednesday, you should be able to actually walk through Epcot. Wednesday is the Epcot early entry day. EP will open at 8am. You can get through EP and onto the monorail anytime after 8am, and still make the 9am opening at MK.

Other days, I agree a taxi may be the way to go.

a taxi would take you to the ttc, a bus would take you to the magic kingdom
