Is it possible to vacation at Disney for $1000.00 - Family of 4

I agree with an above poster. Number 1- If you are planning on 6 days and only the 4 main parks (no water parks) you don't need the hopper option. When calculating savings, every penny counts (to me, anyway). Number 2- watch these boards like a hawk. Disboarders post some wonderful saving solutions and discount codes on these boards. I just recently thought I had a great deal for onsite accomodations for a AAA price of $59/night, when I read another post about the Orbitz price of $35, which I was able to get. I am paying $214.00 for 5 nights at the Pop including tax! So believe me it can be done. My main point is...be flexible. Have flexible dates, times, and be realistic about touring the parks. You may have to shave a day off the parks and hit downtown. My DD loves Downtown Disney and we often spend an entire day there. Again watch the boards...there is soooo much to be learned before 2009!!! Good LUCK!!!:thumbsup2
