If there is availability, yes you can. Keep in mind that if you had a discount, there's a very good chance that the discount will not apply to the new resort and you will be paying rack rate.

You can ask them, but I often see them referring the guest back to the booking line to check availability. I think if you're considering doing this to try and do it before you check in.

I would try to do this before you arrive. If you can switch, you will not have any issues upon arrival... you go straight to your new resort.

Yes they will put the funds toward your new reservation. And Port Orleans is definitly worth the upgrade!! I PO resorts! I say go for it ASAP
