Is it possible to pay cash for a 5th person in studio?

I have a BLT studio reserved for Oct 1st weekend, it was initially a solo trip; but now family wants to come along .. we will be 4 adults and 6yr child.

being the 5 in the studio will certainly be crowded but availability those days is very limited.

do you know if it is possible to add the 5th person paying cash?

As far as I know, there is no extra person charge when using points. Just add the extra person to the reservation. Or, are you asking about renting another studio with cash?

I can’t add them all directly in the webpage (I am using cash).. it only allows me to include the info of 4 pax…

And I need to link them all to keep the park reservations.. right?

Your party is too large for a BLT studio. Occupancy is 4 plus an infant under the age of 3, who can sleep in a portable crib. Neither CRO/DRC (cash) or DVC (points) will allow it.

FWIW, the BLT studios are very small. Even 4 adults would be pushing the comfort level.

You can't have 5 persons over the age of 3 listed on a reservation for a BLT Studio. The stated capacity is 4 plus an infant (under 3yo).

I thought that a BLT studio slept 5. I looked up occupancy before I responded too. Sorry to give you the wrong information!

Edited, I looked up at BCV studio instead of a BLT studio.

Can you try to book a different resort? I agree with @CarolMN. The BLT studios are very small. We stay almost exclusively in studios and they are very small for just the two of us.

The occupancy is set and can not be increased so it won’t work for your group.

If it was originally just one person, that person still gets the BLT studio. The other four need to book their own room.

They actually are not the largest studios. At WDW Poly and Riviera are both larger. It also wouldn't help with the 5th guest because they only sleep 4.

Yay! Don’t know how often you’ve stayed in 1 br.s, but be aware, they are addicting, you’ll love the extra space to spread out.

I found fitting 5 even in a 1-BR at Boardwalk tight. We were there when our kids were 9, 7 and 7. One of our kids slept in the king bed with us, and the other two on the sleeper.
