Is it possible to order maps of dl and dca before making reservations?

I'm wanting to order the free ones like i have done for wdw. I always had a reservation prior to ordering them though. So just wondering if you have to have a reservation number or something to order them for dl.

I don't know about ordering the maps beforehand. I do know that DLR is different from WDW in that they don't post hours until about 45 days beforehand and entertainment is posted about 30 days beforehand. You can make dining ADR's at 60 days.

I say approximately because it seemed like I was at least 40 days out before anything was posted. The Disneyland dot com website had the information.

Not sure if you want the actual maps specifically, but if you just need it for research, Disney post maps online.

Dlr doesn't have the same souvenir maps that wdw has to order.

I have a set of normal park maps that I'm happy to send you, though. Pm your address if you would like them. They are from late august/early September of this year.

Am I thinking of a different map or something? The links I posted are the maps that you can get in the park that has all the attractions, restaurants etc.

Many of us like to hold a map in our hands. WDW has big souvenir-type (free) park maps you can order once every 6 months. DL doesn't have that. For those of us who like something official, not just a printout, it's nice to have the real thing you can get at the parks. So some of us take a few sets to mail them to others.

Others plan just fine with online maps or printouts!
