Is it Possible to Get A UHP For One Day Less Than Stay?

I think I read you can get UPH's at the desk at your resort...what I was wondering is, if you go and ask for the passes the day after you check in, can you still get the UPH's or do you have to get them at check in for the entire length of stay?

We are planning on going to the Very Merry Christmas Party our first day and weren't planning on going to any parks before the party so it'd be a waste to get UHP for that day since we will have seperate hard tickets for the party.

I just can't decide if we should get FIT's tickets or if possible UPH's for one day less than our length of stay (if that is even possible)

You can request the first day or the last day dropped on your UPH pass at the resort desk. I've read where some CMs will drop both days on your pass.

In the past, I have dropped the last day because we were checking out at 8 a.m. No sense in paying for a day we weren't using.

Definitely call and check - that would be the best way to go...

If that option is not available, here is another plan. We usually make 3 reservations when we use the UPH option - one for the first night, one for the stay that we want the UPH, and one for the last night. I note on the reservations about the other nights so we don't have to change rooms, and make sure it is noted when we check in. My husband just goes down on morning two, checks us in again, and picks up the new keys/UPH.

We often stay in different hotels on the last night, so we can get a taste of another resort.

what I have done in the past, is the last night make it a room only reservation. You tell them you want the same room. You have to check out and then check in. You can use your UHP tickets until midnight of your room only reservation. Then the next day we fly out.
