Our cat had a major surgery last week. All told, he was at 3 different vets and 1 surgical center in the 2 weeks before the surgery. His surgical recovery has been wonderful, but he has been having a gastro issue for the past 2 days. I thought that the antibiotics were causing it, so the surgeon told us to stop giving him those (since he was already a week out of surgery at that point it was OK).
Well, he's still having the diarrhea 2 days after his last antibiotic. DH thinks that maybe he got worms from one of the vet's offices that he was at. Is that possible or likely? Is it more likely that the antibiotics just need more time to get out of his system? The surgeon thinks that it can't be the antibiotics after 2 days of being off them, but I'm not so sure. He took the cat version of Amoxicillin (sp?), and I know that the human version of this drug can do a number on the gastro track too. I don't want to drag him to our vet before the surgeon takes his sutures out on the 7th if I can help it, but I will if there is any chance that he does have worms.

OMG!!! Is there anyone I could hire, to clean/remove a chair if that happens with our 2 new cats? OMG!!! I hope this Revolution stuff really keeps away fleas, worms, etc...the vet told me it would but, I'm still not believing it.
I hope it works, I hope it works.
