Is it possible...both WWOHPs in one day in mid-March?

We have the opportunity to go to USF for one day between March 12-15. DD would love to to see the WWHOPs, and this would be all that we want to do in the parks. So would it be possible to see both sections in one day?

If it helps to know, we will likely not be riding any of the rides as DH and DD do not like roller coasters. So we'll do the castle tour to see Hogwarts, and (I'm thinking) spend the rest of our time enjoying the atmosphere. Would the queue for Gringotts be worth the wait?

If all you want to do is WWOHP, I think one day would be more than sufficient at any crowd level (although you probably can't enjoy the sights as much when it's jam-packed with people). There's not really much to "do;" it's mostly a lot of things to see with some activities and rides sprinkled in, which you already said you probably wouldn't want to hit much anyway. As an aside, I'm completely jealous of your trip solely to see WWOHP. I would love a day when I can just take my time in those parks, but I don't know anyone who would be up for that. Both times I went, I was rushed through the shops and such by the people with me. Might just have to go on my own sometime.

I haven't seen the Gringotts queue in its entirety because I rode single rider, but from what I hear, it's def. worth it.

Thanks for the input! I've looked at info on the web and in guide books, but it helps to know from someone who's been there.

I'm sorry you haven't had a chance to savor WWOHP yet...we are lucky in that the whole family loves HP, and with 2/3 of us not liking roller coasters, there's not much in the rest of the parks to distract us away. If we weren't all HP geeks, I think I'd have to take your suggestion and just go by myself!

The comments about coasters puzzle me. There are so few coasters at Universal.

Anyway, we might try to see both areas in one day too. We are going when you are and I've been wondering about Spring Break crowds. We will have 3 days in the parks but it would be nice to see everything more than once I think.

Sorry, I'm not being precise...my DD and DH don't like thrill rides of any kind. For example, they refuse to do even Test Track at Epcot. I can get them on Teacups and Pirates, thank goodness. They don't enjoy any thing too fast, too tall, or too bumpy and especially nothing that combines any of those! I am admittedly nowhere near being a Universal expert, but from what I have read, my family would not enjoy most of the other rides there. We never even considered going there before they opened WWOHP.

As for crowds during during our shared time frame...Touring plans lists crowds of 6 or 7 and Orlando Informer lists moderate (above slow, but behind busy and capacity).
