In the past, I've managed to stay the same on Disney trips, but my revved up metabolism continues after I get home - so I tend to gain weight AFTER I get home, until I can get my appetite back down to normal.
If that makes sense..WE're usually park commandos, so we go all day and keep a brisk pace. WE tend to snack all day, but not overeat too much in one sitting. WhenI get home though, my body is used to that late night chocolate chip cookie. I don't tend to gain much - under five pounds - but it takes some effort to get my eating habits back in sync with the amount of calories I burn at home.
On our next trip we're doing DDP for the first time, so I'm wondering how that will go.
