I don't know... it's getting kind of sad now. Before, it was kind of interesting in a "She said *what?*" and "But why would they do that??!?!" kind of way. Entertaining, although it's admittedly in a gossipy sort of way.

Now it's reminding me of my husband's cousin who is known to go on late-night Facebook rants when he's been drinking, blaming everyone except himself for his problems and saying WAY more than he should. Watching someone self-implode is just... sad.

And it's starting to feel like it's moving from gossipy to voyeuristic, even though they're the ones who are putting it all out there for everyone to see -- to the point that it's hard NOT to see it even if you're not really looking for it.

Healing relations with the RF doesn’t seem to be H&M’s goal. They seem to be focusing on manipulating the press by planting stories. Lots of friendly outlets for them.

She is pretty much a sensationalist tabloid reporter now and has been for quite a few years. She does not do honest factual reporting, most of it is biased, opinionated and self-serving. I'm trying to get a feel how the different parties in the US are talking/thinking about this case on tv and in the media. But I now notice, there is a serious gap in my American culture education It's hard to judge who would be a more reliable source to listen to.

There is no source in the US that can be relied on for the truth.

We are more interested in business news in the am, and CNBC has that in spades from 5 to 8 am, along with good coverage of info on Covid stats and vaccines since the pandemic started. I guess I will be missing future H&M updates.

It does seem that media has been biased one way or the other on the Royal family. I don’t see that changing soon either.

It comes as Buckingham Palace instructed an external law firm to assist with its investigation into bullying allegations made against the Duchess.

Royal aides announced earlier this month that past and present employees of Meghan and Harry would be invited to speak in confidence about their experiences, after it was alleged she drove out two personal assistants and staff were 'humiliated' on several occasions.

Now it is understood an outside legal company will help Buckingham Palace's human resources team as it examines the circumstance of the allegations, first reported by the Times newspaper.

According to other reports, the Sussexes are not expected to be asked to contribute to the review, but the duchess has written to the palace asking for any documents, emails or texts relating to the allegations against her.

Lawyers for the duchess have denied the bullying allegations. Harry was also accused of bullying, with the Times reporting earlier this month that a member of staff told a colleague the couple were 'outrageous bullies'.

I think it's great they're having this investigation -- which from what I've read is more about the systems they have in place to deal with allegations. Sure, they've had policies in place for some years but clearly the system is insufficient. It isn't like they can fire a member of the family if they're treated poorly, as a manager or other employee would be. So many staff that came in contact with Meghan had to leave, even after years of service to The Firm.

Even if it means the RF has to find an employee a suitable equivalent job in another venue, there has to be more done than just a good reference. There is just too much anecdotal evidence to say that Meghan didn't do any of the things she has been accused of -- it's a pattern. But a better system would also protect employees in worse situations, including sexual harassment.

I agree. Harassment, sexual or otherwise is clearly unacceptable. Also it’s a particularly sensitive issue at this time.

And that is just super sad. Just like in so many things, the kids suffer the most. Meghan has cut ties to her family and Harry's family. Those are relationships that their kids should have.

Seriously? What if HE doesn't want to go because HE wants to be there for the birth of his child? Not everything is her fault.
