I tend to agree with you. I definitely am more sympathetic to H&M because I understand what can lead one want to leave a situation, even if it doesn’t seem earth shattering to the outside world.
The difference to me is that H&M DO have knowledge of the inner workings of the RF. Now it may be skewed and the way they react different than people would like. But they aren’t doing it without knowledge of what they believe to be their truth. The public is doing it without any proof. They’ll say they do, but it’s become apparent through out this thread that many believe it’s made up when it supports H&M, but absolutely factual when it’s against them. Or they cherry pick the parts that back up their argument. And that is hypocritical.
I personally am not as invested as some. But I do strongly believe that people are allowed to walk away from situations, including family, that are not what’s in their best interest. They don’t owe any loyalty to the BRF. On that, if they choose to walk away, they need to do it. It can’t be with strings attached. But this idea that they aren’t allowed to live their own life is ridiculous to me.
