Well technically speaking I don’t know how it’s possible thing he would have to quarantine for two weeks once he arrived.
And if word got out that there was an exception made for him all hell would break loose. The travel quarantine is a hot topic right now in the UK

basically said BP staff are perplexed on why they would do this.. as supposidly all riffs and issues have been resolved. " when the war is over, why start bombing again" was the comment from BP staff. Not official but the press have their contacts.. so maybe only 98% true

a VERY good point. consensus over here in the EU is that this interview has killed any relationship Harry might have hoped for with his family.

then I had this thought.. Maybe Harry and Meghan didnt have a choice and HAD to the internview.. From my understanding he has a project with Oprah. Knowiing how she is a great business person and and have heard the many stories on how shrewd she can be. My guess she dangled the money carrot but with a price. Here’s a lucrative project but I want this interview.

I totally believe this could be what happened. They might have felt they had to. they sound so savvy.

Thank for repeating the info on Thomas Markle. You only get to have one biological father. I believe he helped her get where she did in Hollywood by paying for her education and other things he did for her career wise.

Completely unnecessary word. Biology means nothing when it comes to being a parent. You only get one sperm donor but any man can step up and be a father to any child.

I mentioned several pages back that I had a hard time understanding the part of the interview about Archie receiving the title of prince. Were they upset that the queen wasn’t going to make the same exception for him as she had for Charlotte and Louis, or were they saying they were being told Archie would never be eligible for the title even after Charles took the throne when, according to 100-year-old convention, he should be entitled? The NY Times and The Guardian are reporting it’s the latter:

“Under a royal convention, established by King George V in 1917, Archie was not given the title of prince at his birth, since he was a great-grandson — not a son or grandson — of the reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. Were his grandfather, Prince Charles, to ascend the throne, Archie would automatically assume the title of prince, provided the royal family sticks to the rules.

But Meghan said that during her pregnancy, the royal family discussed changing the rules to deprive Archie of the princely title permanently. “I think even with that convention I’m talking about, while I was pregnant, they said they want to change the convention for Archie,” she said.”

That would make more sense as to why no one could give them an answer as to why, as they were claiming, because it should’ve been pretty easy to explain if they were just following the rules already on the books. I wish that part of the interview had been more clear.

So if it is due to Charles feeling pressure to slim down the monarchy, why blame it on race?

I have heard that countries have exceptions for funerals. Or routes around it, like have 2 negative tests.

I agree it can be heart wrenching. My best friend lost her SO to cancer in April. Unable to attend memorial service in May In Florida. Still does not feel she has said goodbye.

Doesn’t matter for the UK. Also depending on where you’re coming from he would have to pay for a government subsidized hotel quarantine I’m not sure if the US is considered one of those hot zones or not they were before. Basically whatever the Brazilian or South African variant is prominent

By definition, yes. But that doesn’t automatically give them the title of great parent. Which is a connection a few are trying to make here. Seriously, one picture of a smiling Meghan equates to him being a great dad? That is quite a stretch.

On a Disney fan website, you're pretty likely to find people interested in all things royal and who are big boosters to maintain all things royal. Ummm.....castles, princesses, Prince Charming, enchanted frogs. Duh!!!
