Is it ok to have toddler on reservation if she might not go?

I booked a birthday trip and my parents have agreed to watch my toddler for the weekend. I have my toddler on the reservation just in case things change and they won’t be able to watch her or something. Will there be any issue if we check in and she’s not with us? Or will they not care? I never done that before so wasn’t sure

Since there is not an additional charge and room capacity works it will be fine.

It is trickier if you have an extra adult with extra adult fees, a toddler? No worries.
