Is it ok for teens and adults to do pin trading?

DW and I love pin trading. I'm in my mid 40's. So, yes!

As an adult, I keep a couple of the inexpensive kid pins around too. I have been known to give them out sometimes. Often I will leave those on my actual lanyard in case little kids want to trade with me and I don't want to have them get disappointed with my premium pins. I keep my more expensive pins in a pouch.

We traded every night at the POFQ shop after returning from the parks (2 adults) as well as trading in various locations around the parks. We actually got on ebay and bought up quite a few unopened vinylmation/other booster pin packs to leave on the boards. We thought it might be nice for people to get some pins that were different from the usual ones you see on the boards.

Thanks everyone! We're definitely going to do it on our next trip. I wonder if they have a Princess Tiana lanyard? That is her favorite Disney Princess. It would be awesome if I could find one for her. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be very much Tiana merchandise available.

depending on your level of craftiness, you can can always make one. Its really just a long thin strip of fabric joined at one end. You could also look to Easy. You may find someone who has, or can make it for you.

or use a small princess Tiana shoulder bag or pocket book and put the pins on the strap.

DSIL (33) was all about it last Christmas... DD (17) was till too cool for it. DD used to pin trade when she was younger (I think she'll be back).
