Is it me or are Feb car rentals higher than others?

Hi all
I've been reading all these great rates people are getting for rental cars and it got me questioning if I'm doing something wrong.
Of course I'm going President's week so I expected it to be higher.

Right now for a full size at Budget the rate is $188.

Would do you all think? Does that seem reasonable?

They usually don't come down until closer to the date and only if they have a number of unrented cars. Holiday weekends might be booked up, therefore no need to reduce rates.

anytime theres a three day holiday the prices are higher crowds are bigger too everyone wants to take advantage of the extra day off from school or work
