I have a friend who has a one of a kind, park placed artifact, made for the park when it opened, and replaced when the Mickey changed to the straight on profile it is now. My question is, does this belong to Disneyland or the person who has owned it since the mid 1960's? Thx

Disney over the years, especially during the Disneyana Conventions (1992 - 2001), sold a lot of Park decorations. They have also sold through auctions and often would have companies (such as Mouse Surplus) buy all sorts of stuff for resale.
