Ok, last trip was a bummer, now this trip is giving me a headache.
Me and Kari have to find someplace to live on this next trip (8-10). Our goal is for me to have some place online, go in thursday morning have a look around and sign a lease so we have more time at the parks. Yeah right like that is happening... ::Kari's wishful thinking::
Well so far I've had to make three reservation, had one go missing, cancel the other and hopefully this last one won't disappear before we leave in a week.
I called up one night and I wasn't looking at a calander and Kari was giving me dates, well I booked the 7th and 8th instead of the 8th and the 9th. We usually tack an extra night on the beginning incase we want to do a night drive. Even at 2am it's nice to set up camp, rather than dealing with it in the morning before the parks or after a long day at the parks. Well I kept the reservation for partial hook-up (campgrounds) for the two nights at 36$ a night and kept calling back for the third night.
Well one night while messing around, I searched for the three nights and found it for a full hook-up site for 55$ a night. Well I called disney up quickly to see if they could get this added to my ressie, but nothing came up in thier computers. So I asked if I make this deal online can call back to see if I can get AAA discount or FL resident discount, the guy said yeah. So I made the deal.
I called back and there were no discounts available. So I said fine I'll keep my original two nights at p/h and transfer sites for the third night to the f/h. Call back again to verify everything and my p/h reservation is missing. No one can find it. Well the guy told me that it got transferred to a wholesaler or something like that and asked if I booked it through a travel group or something. I said no, I called you guys and I got it with my AAA discount. Well he tried connecting me and I got a voice mail, left a message and no one called me back.
A couple days later, I called again. This lady couldn't find anything but managed to find a f/h site for 41$ a night for all three nights. So I booked this one also, and asked her to cancel the 2nd ressi (one night f/h site).
I checked my bank statement and saw that I didn't get my money back.
So I called again. And finally spoke to some one higher up. She made sure that the original ressi was cancelled and the deposit was transferred to my new one. And the 2nd ressi was cancelled and refunded. Hopefully I get my 50$ back before we leave in a week. I did call today and the money was transfered so I only owe about 45$ if we do go up the night before. If not we'll cancel it and owe about 5$.
Has any one else have a reservation dissappear like that?
