Is it just me or does it sound like Coronado will be the next DVC?

This article from touring plans has me thinking that a giant 15 story tower at Coronado Springs will be the next DVC. Not Caribbean beach.

The Disney Blog doesn't sound DVC, to be honest.

They're heavily connecting this tower to the "main" resort and new bridges and gardens. They're emphasizing concierge and suites. Sounds un-DVC.

It's seems more likely that the CBR convention expansion will make room for another DVC tower at the current Contemporary convention center.

Coronado is known for their conventions. I'm thinking they can centralize all those folks in this tower now, so much easier to organize big groups of people.

I'm betting they're starting to re-think the second tower at Bay Lake. They've been ROFR'ing an awful lot there lately.

With many rumors of the CR convention center being demolished then this add on at CBR may be critical to that as well as the expansion of the YC convention space.

Then - new tower at CR.

If they did another tower at CR it would most likely be a separate 'resort' then BLT like the one at wilderness lodge right?

Yes. 15 years between is awkward for RTU and a condo association. They would want an end date past 2065.
