Is it just me? Or do you do this too?

I find things that remind me of WDW that aren't even Disney related!
I was in a grocery store and they had a cute little frog sitting by the produce...my first thought...the frogs on Splash Mountain! Then I started humming the song all afternoon. It gave me pleasant thoughts the rest of the day. I am doing that all the time! I guess my Oct. trip is always on my mind!
I was just wondering what you have seen to trigger a WDW thought?

Mostly the weather....esp if it is HOT and HUMID...my sis and I always say "this is Florida weather"...you know in the morning where it is cool, but you just KNOW it's gonna get hot.

My daughter lives about 50 miles from me but we see each other at least once a week. She has challenged me to go one whole visit without mentioning Disney. I have failed miserably so far.

EVERYTHING reminds me of Disney!

I am constantly finding "hidden Mickeys" all over the place. Like 3 pennies on the counter & clouds in the sky.


5 days and we're off to Disney!

You are definately not alone! Thre is an outdoor shopping mall that has a restaurant/restaurants that have smells that totally remind me of DTD. I think it's the wood-burning oven. My DH and I always say, "Smells like Disney World!" But on the other hand...In always find things where I'm saying..."That would NEVER be happen or belike that at Disney World!" Kathy

My whole family finds Hidden Mickeys everywhere. too!

With a DS6 who LOVES to look for hidden Mickey's, I can't help but be reminded of the World.

Although I don't really need help from her. I recently redecorated my living room and kitchen and use Mickey colors, red, yellow and black. Very subtle, but if you know what you are looking for...

And to prove I am really sunk - I redid my bedroom in a very beautiful French Provencial way, and hid 17 Mickeys in the custom stenciling around the room! I have it SO bad!!

Oh my goodness!!!! I look at everything and think of Disneyworld!!! It's funny, but I got a hamburger at McDonald's yesterday and I was putting some xtra ketchup on it and my pickles looked like MICKEY MOUSE My friends and parents probably want to kill me. I've talked soooo much about our upcoming trip.

Omigosh, the peach and two plums in my fruit basket looked like a hidden mickey to me this morning and I thought I had finally lost it! Good to know I'm not alone!

It doesn't take anything to trigger my thoughts of Disney because at 42 days til we leave I can't think of anything but Disney from the time I wake up til the time I go to bed. I'm beginning to think I need to stop spending so much time looking through these threads but I just can't pry myself away. Not to mention that getting this close we almost constantly listen to DD's Disney cd's in the car. My family and friends sure wish I'd shut up sometimes because every conversation I have with them I bring up something about our trip. Not to mention 3 of the rooms in our house have disney themes.
