The only shots that really drive me nuts are the ones where people use a flash on dark rides like HM and PotC.
Good grief, if every photo posted had perfect focus, sharpness, DoF, composition, color, etc, I'd really be depressed with my own work! It's bad enough that we are all able to cherry-pick our very best photos, it's easy to take, say, 5-10 photos out of 1,000 and manage to look like a halfway decent photographer.

That sounds like me - I do take note of a few shots that I particularly like and attempt to recreate them. I also look at shots that I like the composition of but are maybe have a technical problem or two and try to see if I can do better. But I'm certainly not bothered by seeing photos that aren't perfect.When I see a picture here on the DIS that is one of those "awesome" shots I make a mental note of it, and try to recreate it. That's how we all get better.
