Is it just me, or are Tutto Italia prices ridiculous?

I went there (not on DDP) last week.

Il Mulino in the Swan was far better, better all around service and only slightly more pricey.

However I will say that the food is fantastic and if you are someone craving Italian food, which I often do, and don't want to leave the park, it is very tasty. We did not have apps. We only had the main courses.

I ordered the pasta that comes with the clams. However I only wanted the pasta because most seafood causes allergic reactions in me but this was the only close to plain pasta dish I saw. I was annoyed that they charged a fee for this. It was very good pasta though. And I have to say I was impressed that the manager came over to apologize for a delay in my meal and explain that they were concerned about allergies so making mine in a different pan.

I probably won't go there again though.

That's the first time that I have heard of a Disney restaurant* charging extra for special ordering because of an allergy. I can understand that it's more work for the kitchen, it is in almost all special request/allergy cases.

*(Though I understand that Tutto is not Disney owned)
