Sanaa The Art of African Cooking with Indian Flavors
§ Sanaa is Swahili for artwork and pronounced Sa-NAH.
§ Sanaa offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m.
§ A limited number of tables at the 150-seat restaurant offer views of Sunset Savanna
§ An adjacent 24-seat lounge serves beverages including African wines, beer, and spirits
§ The inspiration for the creative menu is the many cultures and cuisines along the historical spice routeAfrica, India, China, and Europe
§ Central to African-Indian cuisine is the use of the tandoor oven, essentially a large clay pot similar to a pizza oven. The restaurant will serve familiar foods from tandoor ovens, such as tandoori chicken, lamb, and shrimp. In addition the menu includes curry entrees, salad sampler platters, paneer cheese with spinach, and Indian style breads.
