So we have a few pictures now and I thought I would relax and reassured...now I just want to see more and more.. I am very pleased with what I have seen...

I REALLLLLLY need to know if there are any food offerings in the store or pool bar... This is holding up my decision on what dining plan to do or if any plan at all.... grrrrr...

I'm so impatient...

Yes I have seen those...and they leave me wanting more!! I keep checking back for more pics.. I see you too want to know about the dining..

I want to know about the dining too---I read a few things at the pool-fruit cup, sandwiches...

no pics yet, but my cousin in law should be sending some up-- she was at the Open Mouse yesterday & she will be staying in a studio on Friday.

Here is some info as far as food:

§ Johari Treasures offers items such as logo and character merchandise, plush toys, sundries, books and magazines, snack items, beer and wine, and a limited selection of grocery items

Sanaa – The Art of African Cooking with Indian Flavors
§ “Sanaa” is Swahili for “artwork” and pronounced Sa-NAH.
§ Sanaa offers lunch from 11:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
§ A limited number of tables at the 150-seat restaurant offer views of Sunset Savanna
§ An adjacent 24-seat lounge serves beverages including African wines, beer, and spirits
§ The inspiration for the creative menu is the many cultures and cuisines along the historical spice route—Africa, India, China, and Europe
§ Central to African-Indian cuisine is the use of the tandoor oven, essentially a large clay pot similar to a pizza oven. The restaurant will serve familiar foods from tandoor ovens, such as tandoori chicken, lamb, and shrimp. In addition the menu includes curry entrees, salad sampler platters, paneer cheese with spinach, and Indian style breads.
§ For those who prefer more American flavors, the menu includes items such as grilled pork chop, grilled flank steak, and club sandwich (menu items subject to change).
§ Desert items include mango pudding, vanilla-coconut rice pudding, and eggless chocolate cake

Maji Pool Bar
§ Maji Pool Bar offers a variety of beverages including specialty drinks, as well as a limited assortment of food items such as Club Sandwich, Tandoori Chicken Caesar Salad, Fresh Fruit Cup, and frozen novelties – menu subject to change
§ “Maji” is the Swahili word for “water.”

Thanks for the pics on allears.net and the extra info!

I noticed in one of the gift shop pics that there is a mug refill station too. :thumbsup2

I'm finding it hard to locate all the pics to start with. There's a link here or there, but no listing. :3dglasses

Wish someone with pics could start up a generic "Post Your Kidani Pics Here!!!" thread.

Absolutely stunning! I can't wait to see it in person and, of course, stay there!!

We saw it today and it is a beautiful resort! We took pictures, but they are the same as the ones posted already - can only get so many shots! :)

Thank you everyone for the links to the photos. It's helping to make my Kidani visit not seem too far away. It is making me very excited though. The place looks wonderful. I can't wait to explore every nook and cranny!!!!!
