Did anybody notice that Sharleen wasn't in any of the group shots of the girls in the house, or talking with any of the girls, or in any of the producers interviews? Yes, she was. She was in the first shot with all the girls, as the one was reading the card of all the girls that were going on the group date. Then that girl asked who didn't get picked, and Sharleen raised her hand, along with 2-3 other girls.

None of those girls went on any of the dates. That's how it is each season. Not all the girls go on the group date or the one-on-one dates. Usually, the leftover girls are picked for a one-on-one date later. It's part of the risk of not being chosen at all. Either the Bachelor is saving them for a one-on-one, or he really doesn't have any feeling for them and they will eventually be sent home.

Somehow, I suspect that Sharleen/Opera Girl will get a one-one-one date.

When will these girls learn to say NO to some of the antics on this show? That self-respect actually means something? Posing nude with a cardboard sign might be something Free Spirit girl might do, but obviously not for the attorney. Have some standards girl!

Thank you! It grates on me to watch these women degrade themselves in this way. What kind of man would just assume it would be alright? Juan is starting to seem like a pig.

I wonder how Andi, the district attorney, is going to feel walking into work this morning now that her co-workers know she posed naked?

I can understand that they're a little desperate - they're in a competition with all these other women for Juan Pablo. They're afraid if they refuse to go along then they'll get sent home. They really need to stop and think: do they REALLY want a man who expects them to do something like this? They should want a man who understands that they have some self-respect and are willing to stand up for themselves and just say "no!" to crazy stunts like this.

I really can't believe that Andi allowed herself to be photographed (mostly) naked. For goodness sakes! She brought a ONE PIECE swimsuit. You know they selected her to pose naked because she would suffer the maximum embarrassment and/or provide the maximum drama. The producers are already on my last nerve and it's only the second week. As for Juan, I was disappointed that he made it perfectly clear to her what his expectations were: Suck it up Buttercup. I would like to think that he was pressured by the producers himself .... however, I would have rather he told her that she didn't need to do anything she wasn't comfortable doing. II really hope that last night's stunt does not cost her anything in her career.

Did anyone see Jimmy Kimmel last night? Juan Pablo was shown asking people on the street their opinion of The Bachelor. No one gave a positive answer and a few called it sleezy. He seems to be everywhere but in Florida with his daughter. I know he has a contract with ABC, but I believe he will milk this exposure all he can for a modeling/show business career. I do not find him especially attractive. But he does have a nice smile.

I dvr'd tonight's episode so I'm about a half hour behind the live show but I have to say that running through the snow barefoot would not be anything I would ever want to do!!

On Sunday's pre-show, they showed a company using huge blocks of ice to make snow. They used a machine like a tree chipper and a blower to spread it.

So Juan Pablo is smart enough to send home drunk Victoria, but he gives a rose to naked flower girl Lucy? I wonder if the producers tell the bachelors that they have to keep certain girls just for the drama?

I doubt he's seeing what we see when it comes to Lucy.

When he went to the hotel to visit Victoria and he was telling her it was okay, I started to think, "Oh, no. Don't tell me you're keeping her around????"

I've always felt that the producers tell the bachelor/ette, "Okay, we've got all these people. Get rid of whoever you want... except these two."

Wow.... so the news reporter was sent packing... The media really can't catch a break these days..

It was bugging me the way they keep posting on screen that she's from Germany.
Yeah, she's worked there for (I think) three years? So that technically makes her 'from there'... but.

Yes, but Andi was clearly uncomfortable in showing a lot of skin "tasteful" or not. She wore a one piece swimsuit for goodness sake! My biggest issue wasn't that there was a nude photo shoot but the producer's selection of who was to pose nude.

Yes! How mortified she must feel. She has a position that is serious, demanding and law abiding (which presupposes a certain moral fiber, right?). I was disappointed that she stooped to that level and I was disgusted with Juan that he prompted her to do it, knowing her insecurities. I think he's thinking with his little Juan and the more these women degrade themselves, the more little Juan will be calling all the shots.

I was particularly irritated with him when he knew Victoria was smashed yet he left the party and admonished the other girls to make sure she got home safely. Personally I think he should've been the one to escort her safely back to the hotel. That would've showed more class.

Exactly my point. While the photo shoot appeared to be tasteful, Andi was obviously not willing to do it.
So while I don't have a problem with that type of photo, I do have a problem with Juan trying to convince her to do it. He should have supported her choice not to do it. And made her aware that her choice would not be held against her.

It really bugged me too, when the director was told that she (or maybe it was the other one) didn't want to do it that he basically just ignored her and walked away.

I dunno. It's so easy to look back with 20/20 hindsight, but...

A woman who just looks him in the eye and firmly says, "No", would impress me a lot more.

I felt very proud for the 1st grade teacher that decided she would rather wear the stupid fire hydrant than pose nude! where did they find someone with a sliver of moral fiber left? After so many stories have made the national news about teachers losing their jobs because nude pictures surfaced I am so glad that one of these girls realized that "the chance at love" isn't as important as the rest of your life.

But when they were showing the snapshots of the photoshoot...those didn't look professional at all! The lighting, the girls' expressions, everything- looked terrible. Maybe after some heavy touch ups they might look classy but as they were in the show they looked extremely amateur.

My quick take.....

First, I would like the show a LOT better if it really were more reality TV, and not a lot of stupid, idiotic, scripted crap like having a nudist wear a fire-hydrant and a school teacher and a public servant pose nude.

So, my take... a huge load of hoo-hahhhh.

Finally watched last night's episode just now!

I'm starting to wonder if Lucy is a plant too. I mean- I don't see how she did anything (besides take her clothing off) to get a rose. I mean, I think they showed her talking to him once (which could have just been the editing.) If he says he's looking for a stepmother for his daughter, then what does he see in her?

I'm with you guys on him- something about him seems a little slimy. Most of the girls seem genuine, but I'm not really feeling like he is.

Finally, I was disappointed in both Juan and the creative director guy at the photo shoot. How hard is it to understand that some of these women didn't feel comfortable posing naked? Why is the answer to just 'suck it up'? I completely agree with the school teacher- she should be a role model for her kids! Maybe this is my personal opinion, but I don't think taking of her clothes and posing for charity makes her a role model for a group of young school kids (did she say first grade?)

(She appears about 20 seconds into the clip....hanging ornaments on the tree). This has to be the oddest bit of video I've ever seen.
