We will have 6 adults and 2 kids in our party. I will call at 180 + 10 to get our ADRs. Has anyone had experience with larger parties like ours and had trouble getting reservations? Thanks!

Anything over a party of 6 will need 2 tables. So it may be more difficult to find times where there are 2 tables available.

REALLY?? Is that true in all cases? I sure hate to think of having to split my family up at every meal?

We just finished booking all our meals for our December trip, group of 10. I actually booked 2 things today (173 days out): Garden Grill for a 4:30 dinner and O'hana for a 10:00 breakfast. I had no trouble securing a reservation. We got all our other choices as well, but those were booked at 190 days out by the WL concierge. (We are staying club level). Good luck!

We just went with 21 and had no trouble with ressies for a party as large as ours. The only rule was that our ressies had to be in the first thirty minutes of seating. That meant 8:00 breakfasts and 5:00 dinners but that's what we wanted anyway. Previously traveled with 9 and no special rules at all.

BTW, I even got CRT for breakfast for the 12 girls in our group.

Last week, our group of 21 was seated at one long table at Ohana's. At Chef Mickey's we were at two large round tables (10 and 11). At Donald's Breakfastsaurus we were at 4 seperate tables and in seperate cars at Sci Fi.

We previously traveled with 9 and were only seated seperatly at Sci Fi.

I made our reservations for December last week, we are a party of 8. We got everything we wanted including Le Cellier and CRT no problem, the only places they mentioned splitting us up were Sci Fi (the largest cars seat 6) and Captain Jacks (largest table is 6, we had our choice of 6 & 2 or 4 & 4)

Have fun!

We are going in December and we are 6 adults and 4 kids. I make our ADR's last Wednesday, and I was only able to get 1 ADR where we are all at 1 table. The other 4 ADR's we are 2 tables of 5. It kinds defeats the purpose of going on a "family" vacation. I just hope they are able to get the tables next to each other, but there is no guarantee.

When our party of 21 was split up last week our tables were always side by side. Easy talking, visiting distance. We did a big kid table, and then tables with mixes of little ones and adults.

No, this is not true in all cases. When we take all our kids/spouses there is 8 and when we have the grandkids with there is 12.

We have always had good luck with tables, and many of the restaurants can accomodate you at one table, especially if you call in in advance.
Just depends on where you are planning on eating.

Have a great trip!

We've booked twice in the past....one time with a party of 13 and one time with a party of 8 and didn't have a problem getting the times/dates we wanted :goodvibes. As long as you call at the 180 day mark, I think you'll be fine ::yes::. They may tell you they have to put the ressie in as 2 tables, but I wouldn't worry about that as I was told that for our party of 13 and we were all seated together ;). Good luck and have a wonderful trip :cutie:.

I just finished our ADRs for December and we are a party of 8. There are three meals where we are seated at 2 tables - The Plaza, CRT and Cape May Cafe. We were able to secure one table at the following locations: CG, Narcoosees, Spoodles, CP, LTT, CR, R&C, PTC, Mama Melrose, Tusker House and Jiko. I called at exactly 180 from the day of our arrival.

Sorry, not always the case....we are a family of 7 and we have never been separated at 2 tables. We have eaten at Crystal Palace, CRT, MM, Chefs de France, Chef Mickeys, Biergarten, Mexico(can't think of the name right this moment) and have always sat together.

I made my ADRs for a group of 9 at 90 days out and the only place we couldn't get at all was Boma. Everywhere else we got what they are telling us is one table and basically at the time we wanted.
