We are planning to go to WDW in june for my birthday, the 21-28, 2008 to be exact as of now.

We own points at SSR, but would like to stay at BCV in a studio if we can. We would have to wait until the 7 month window to book this there. What are the chances of getting a room at BCV for that time? We have never been in June before, so i dont know how crowded it would be. If not there, what about the other places, BWV, VWL or SSR. It seems we can always get into SSR, but we would like to stay elsewhere if we can.

Is there any certain views that we can request at BCV? Which is best if there is??

How bad is the weather and crowds as well??

thanks.

BCV gets real popular during June. Make your reservation exactly at 7 months and you should be okay. You might even call MS a few weeks before and ask how the situation looks for your reservation at 7 months. A lot of times they will let you know if it looks good or not that good.

We got a studio from June2nd -9th this year at the 7 month mark I waited to do the entire trip instead of day by day with no problem.

Good Luck it was a wonderful stay for us.

We waitlisted for BCV for our 7/30 thru 8/04 trip this year and it came through July 3rd.

I have booked BCV at the 7 month window a few times and have been okay. Once was in June, once in October (which is very hard to get due to FWF). There was only one time I was not able to book and that was in October. Just make sure you have a back up plan in place but your chances should be "OK" for June. Gook luck.

If you want to GUARENTEE as best you can then do the Christmas time trick... call every day and book daily and link the ressies. I did this at Christmas this year and got BCV no problem (although BW for some of my week was all booked up by BW owners... they were nice enough to pre-check for me as I wanted one of those 2.)

If you for sure are going to go, then my suggestion is this. Book your home resort at the 11 month mark, that way you for sure have a reservation for your trip. Then at the 7 month mark, try to change it to BCV or any other resort you wish to try. Don't know what else you can do. JMO

I would do what others have said. Book 11mo out with home resort, then at 7 mo, see if BC is available....

As for the weather-HOT and HUMID!
As for the crowds-lots of them!

But do this- get up early, stay till 1pm or so.. then go to resort...
Then, around 5pm or 6pm go to a park of your choice and stay till 11pm or 12pm.. Avoiding heat of the day, and be refreshed when you go out..

This is what we do, but we do have kids older now- 18, 13, so they can 'stay up later'...

ENJOY the trip!

Last year we got BWV standard view at 7 months out for last week of June no problem. Good luck!

Its hard, but not impossible. We usually make a reservation at our home resort and go about planning our trip. At the 7 month window, we call to see if we can get into BCV. If we can't then - we use the wait list. Its worked out in the majority of times.

Last year I was able to book BWV at 7 months for F&W, and booked one day at BCV and waitlisted the Sunday which was not available. It came through after about a month and a half, and I was able to cancel the BWV reservation.

Call as soon as you can and use the waitlist and I think it'll work out.

We got a studio in January for a June trip without a problem this year. Weather is hot an humid and crowds are big. We usually travel in January and may try October next the big plus was the waterparks - I would almost skip the parks and hit TL and BB!
