Would it be bad to just go to the WWC for the all you can drink milkshakes for a snack as long as it wasn't during peak meal times? (So you wouldn't be taking up valuable eating space)
With two little ones, we were thinking that this might be a good way to take a break and cool off
What do you think?

I certainly would NOT make an AR and then just order shakes....but I think it would be fine to walk up to the hostess and tell them you would like to order shakes....I am sure if tables were open they would welcome you..

I've done that at the Sci Fi restaurant. I usually go mid afternoon, after lunch but before dinner. Never had a problem.

When we stayed at the WL we did this a few times, after our morning at the parks, before we went to the pool, we sat and cooled off at WC with a few shakes. :goodvibes The CM's teased us about not eating anything, and gave DH a really LONG straw to drink his orange shake with, but it was fun and it wasn't too busy. GO FOR IT.

We were not planning on making AR's. We were just going to take a chance on walking up and maybe gettin a table when it was not peak eating time.

Hey, it's your vacation and you are there buying milkshakes. You have every right to a table. Like you said, out of courtesy, I would do it at an off peak time. You can go to a restaurant at home just for dessert, so why not at WDW! :goodvibes
