Is it feasible to eat at CAPE MAY CLAMBAKE while doing Hollywood Studios?

I was trying to pick someplace for our day at Hollywood Studios and for the park itself, I wasn't too into the places to eat at the park. Would the Cape May Clambake be a good thing early dinner and then head back to the park? I'm not sure where Hollywood Studios is located in correlation to the Beach Club/Yacht Club, Boardwalk areas. I'm not real into the Hollywood Studios park. I would skip it altogether, LOL:lmao: but ds wants this park so it has to be a definite do. I was thinking of Sci-Fi but there are so many mixed reviews. Just not sure what to do, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm:confused3 Thanks for the input;)

Which theme park would you do if you had to choose one over the other?

EPCOT OR HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS????

HOW MUCH STAR WARS STUFF IS AT HOLLYWOOD, if any? I know they hold the event there but was wondering if they have some neat stuff all the time at the Studios park. Just not sure what to do??? The only parks I care about are AK and MK. I could skip the Epcot and Hollywood altogether. Thanks for the help:goodvibes

Right out side of Disney Studios there is a boat dock that will take you to the YC/BC and BW area. So, if you'd like to eat at the Clam Bake, you're a boat ride away.

Would I leave Disney Studios for the Clam Bake, no. That's just us. We didn't LOVE it. If you only have one day at Disney Studios I'd dine within the park. We're trying the Sci-Fi this trip. For my sons, I know they will enjoy it. If you're son would like the restaurant I'd eat a burger for one evening and go to the Sci-Fi. It's more about the experience than the food.

If you'd like to leave and return after dinner, you have five resorts to select from. There are great restaurants on the Boardwalk.

If it comes down to convenience and making the kids happy, I say eat in the park. :goodvibes

I think doing DHS with the Cape May Clam Bake is a great idea. Trying to eat around World Showcase and then going to the Clam Bake maybe too much.

Its difficult not eating while touring EPCOT.

Well, DH and I would choose Epcot - my boys would choose Disney Studios :goodvibes We have to go to DS for Playhouse Disney :rotfl: It's A MUST SEE CANNOT MISS event. We also MUST have breakfast at Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine. My DS4 has a crush on June from the Little Einsteins and it's the highlight of his vacation to meet June

If your son wants to go to Disney Studios, I'd go. In our house, it's all about the kids. We just tag along :rotfl:

Yes, there is Star War stuff at the Studios. There's a ride and some kind of Jedi training show. My kids are too young so we don't pay attention. :goodvibes

Epcot would win hands down. It is my favorite park in all of Disney. Maybe do the studios in the day time take the boat over the the BC do dinner and finish the day at Epcot?? The studios can be done relatively quickly if you have a good game plan and the crowds are not crazy. Cape May is so so in my opinion but alot of people like it. I would mich rather dine in Epcot at LeCellar or another one of the other countries. It is very doable though. The boatride was about 25 min if you include loading and unloading everyone.

As much as we enjoy Cape May, I don't think it would be worth the time to take the boat over and back. You often have to wait quite a long time for the boat - sometimes have to wait for two boats - you would want to get there early, and have a ressie for dinner - etc. I would say you'd have to get in the boat line by 5:00 latest to make a 6:00 ressie, then say dinner's over at 8:00 - maybe back at the Studios by 9:00? IMO, not worth it with all of the fun places to eat at the Studios - we love Prime Time, for example.

This is what we do ALL THE TIME!!

We ONLY go to DHS for one thing Playhouse Disney and my DS would go there every day if we would take him!:rotfl: So many many times we go to the DHS just for the one show and leave. Have dinner at the BW then head to Epcot.

But we stay for at least 10 days so this is doable. :goodvibes

If they would put the Little Einsteins in another park, I'd never go to DHS!!! :rotfl:

Don't get me started how much I HATE going to AK that's all the way in Georgia  Once per trip that's it, if we're lucky!!

I always spend 2 days at Epcot (one for future world and one for the international gateway). I spend a half day at HS to do about and then hop to another park because I like the muppet 3D and movie ride. I also like Fantasmic. I can see how a young boy may enjoy the Star Wars and Indiana Jones things.

There's so many great places in Epcot, why not pick an EMH HS day? Get started early, do all the stuff your DS would like, then take the boat to Epcot. Have dinner there, catch a few rides, and see Illuminations. Or....choose a day when HS is having there extra late night hours, do Epcot in the daytime, have an early dinner in Epcot or Cape May, and get back to HS in time for Fantasmic. IMHO, Fantasmic is a must-see. Maybe try the FDP?
