We are taking one day out of our WDW vacation (2/27 - 3/6) to go to Universal. My boys are 8 & 11, but not big "thrill ride" seekers, they are happy at the thought of seeing SpongeBob & possibly Slimetime. Is it worth it to try to see both parks, we'd get the 2 day/2 park pass and just use it up in one day, or should we just pick one? We aren't bringing a car, so we have to arrange transportation from our hotel.

Thanks!

Check at the front gate to see if they're offering a 1-day/2-park pass. Since you're going during the relatively slow season, you'll be able to do both parks with ease. Utilize the free express and it'll make your day even easier.

Very doable in one day, not too sure if quite so on a Sat. tho (even if it's slow season).

Near each ride/show entry are several machines you can insert your park tic and receive a choice of 2 times you can ride without waiting in the normal line!

Hi,
If you are not staying on-site, then I would recommend purchasing the Express Plus Pass in addition to your 1 day/2 park ticket. This ensures you front of the line access (fotl) on many of the attractions. This way, you can do most of USO/IOA in one day.....Have a great time!!!

No, we aren't staying on site, we're staying at the Dolphin and making this a one day thing to break up Mickey overload... so what is an "express plus pass", and where can I find the price of the 1 day/2 park ticket? It's no where to be found!

Thanks!!!!

The parks can be done in one day, but you truly will not enjoy everything they have to offer. There is so much theming and atmosphere to enjoy. However, I understand that time is not always on our side, so have fun and definitely use the express passes.

1 day/2 park passes cannot be found online. Check with your AAA office, they might still be running the $69.95 promotion. Otherwise, you'll have to check at the gate.

The free express is just like the free fastpass at Disney, except that you can choose an early time or a later time for an attraction. You scan your ticket, you get the printed pass, and you go back during the times printed on the ticket and skip the main line. Distribution times are limited and tickets are time sensetive. Each person needs their own printed express pass.

The Express Plus is a paid version of express. There are limitations, but not as many as with free express. You are able to use that express by showing the card (in the slow season combo tickets are available, though more expensive, which allows express at both parks). Each party member must have their own pass. Express plus can be used any time during the day, but only one use per attraction.
