Is it easy to get to the Car Care Center?

We're going this fall, staying at ASMo. I'm need a car because we'd like to go ffsite for a day or two this time, so I rented through National at the Car Care Center. Got a good rate - $174 after taxes/fees for a compact car, weekly rental.

My confirmation gives directions on how to get there, and I feel lost just looking at it! Is it easy enough to get the Car Care Center using regular Disney transportation, or should we switch to the Dolphin rental counter?

You used to be able to pick up National car rentals at the Swan/Dolphin. I would definitely recommend that if you can do it. You can just take Disney transportation to the Boardwalk or to MGM. If you are already at MGM or Epcot, it's even easier to get to.

I think I recall that *someone* will give you a shuttle ride to the CCS. It's probably not Disney, it's probably National. I can't recall how one contacts to arrange this, since the phone numbers usually go to a generic National phone bank, rather than to a specific location.

I hope I'm not remembering something altogether different, like the Disney-supplied shuttle to the golf courses.

Hope someone can fill in the gaps that I've left out.

I know some people like using the Car care center, but I prefer to use the Dolphin. The only drawback is they have shorter hours. They close at 4pm

National/Alamo have shuttles that go to the WDW resorts to pick up for the CCC. You just have to make the reservation for the shuttle one hour prior to the pick-up time. You then meet the shuttle, and take it to the CCC. The shuttle I took stopped at SSR, POFQ, and PORS. I thought it was much easier than figuring out how to use disney transportation to get to the Dolphin.

Thanks for clarifying what I thought I remembered. But how in the world did I come up with "CCS"? I looked right at it and said to myself "Yeah, they'll figure out the acronym." Thanks for fixing that one as well.
