Is it December yet? Pre TR 12/4-12/14- Update 7/23

:goodvibes Oh, a meet would be so much fun! We are doing the CP on 12/5 and the MVMCP on 12/11.

I live about 1 hour away from Frankenmuth in Milford, MI. Know what? There used to be a map in the TT at EPCOT and we were on it! I live near the GM Proving grounds. :rotfl:

I felt soo special!:goodvibes

I'm hoping to reserve a Wishes Fireworks Cruise on 12/12, if anyone is interested. It will just be me and my husband. Can't reserve until 9/13 though. Just a little something really neat off-property if you have some spare time - ICE. It's about 15 minutes away from WDW. A very wonderful ice village. Very very cold but very pretty. I think you'll find some info about it under events.

I'm hoping to get the IllumiNations cruise during one of my days there. My mom is completely crazy about doing it!:cool1:

We're doing the ME, so we will be stuck at WDW the whole time. Thank you for the suggestion though!

I will be at MVMCP on the 6th. That's the plan anyway, I still havent bought the tickets yet. I am having breakfast at CP on the 9th, My Birthday. Seems like we all have the same plans but different days.

I am going to Mi. For my Dad's 60th birthday party in August, hadn't planned to go to MI. this year, but all of a sudden my sister springs it on me that she is throwing a surprise party for him, I can't miss that! I won't be there long enough to visit Frankenmuth, big bummer! I am so jealous that you live so close to it.

on a side note, have you ever gone to the natural healing store in Frankenmuth? I went once and picked up a few things, and their stuff worked!

Schaery, We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas 12/4-12/9 and the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge 12/10-12/13

Disneyaddicted, is that the store that was in the new outdoor mall? I know there was one there, and its a purse store now. If its the same one I'm thinking of, yes, I got this wonderful roll-on stuff for headaches, that I suspect is much like that Head on stuff they advertise. This was several years ago, though. It worked fantastically!

I'll post my entire itenerary probably on Tuesday. I've got to stick my nose in the books tomorrow and finish my final exam. One more class until I graduate! :goodvibes

Congratulations on graduating. (Is this you today? :coffee:). We'll be staying at POR from 12/8-12/15. I've just finished my itinerary, too, although I keep making modifications. Guess that's why they call it an itinerary. It's kinda sad, though, cuz now all I can do is just wait, and watch my MouseTracker. Well, I have one thing left to do which is make res. for the Wishes Cruise but can't do that until 9/13. Good luck on your exams. :thumbsup2

Oh goodness! I did promise to share my pre-trip schedule with all of you. I've been busy with school and camping and have gotten sidetracked here!

Anyway....

Well, according to my handy-dandy countdown calendar, we have 4 months, 1 week, and 4 days until our trip to WDW!

I took a different approach to this trip… I actually took over the planning reigns! We are normally a go-with-the-flow kind of family. We wake up and our mood decides which way we are headed. In fact, the only reservations we usually possess are for the Hoop-Dee-Doo. Not this time, my friends! :goodvibes I’ve read enough here to know I need to take control! I am dipping my toes into the wonderful world of planning!

Not every member of my party is happy with this. My brother Ic is convinced I have lost my marbles and he is resisting! :scared1:

I’m going to share a secret with you though. When we come home, he’s going to kiss my toes for being such a good planner! He’s going to thank me repeatedly for scheduling the best places to eat so he’s not forced to have a hamburger for supper 10 nights in a row! :cloud9:

Yeah yeah… Keep dreaming Cici… :rotfl:

Well… I know that YOU will appreciate the planning! If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be here reading, right?

So, here it is! My handy-dandy schedule… (Continued on the next post)

12/4- Our arrival day! :goodvibes We will be checking in our home at the Boardwalk Villas. We are scheduled to have supper at O’hanas (5:30), where the caveman in all of us will awaken to the sight of meat on a stick and all the shrimpy goodness (love that phrase! Thank you for all of you who went before me!) that we can partake of. Poor Veggiegirl!

After our yummy dinner, we are going to try and waddle our way to the monorail for a cruise around the place!

12/5- EPCOT, here we come! This is our Candlelight Processional day. :santa: We have a Rose & Crown book at 5 for 4, followed by the 8:15 show.

Veggiegirl and Ic are on their own tonight. I suspect they will probably not be using a TS, and will instead choose to partake of all the beverages around the world! :p Stitchboy wants to go off with Uncle Ic, but I tried to explain to him he needs to stay with Mom.;)

12/6- Our first Animal Kingdom visit in several years. We usually bypass the AK due to one thing or another. It’s our most unfavorite park. (Good word, eh?) However, there is this big mountain with a huge hairy beast that is just calling to me…

After our trek through the wilderness and beyond, we have a 6:30 dinner scheduled at Cape May. I can taste the Oreo BonBons now!

12/7- MGM or the land of the hat. Know what? I don’t have scheduled TS today! We are not really fond of the places in MGM food-wise. OK, I like the Brown Derby, but no one wants to go with me!

12/8- Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me….Yeah, Magic Kingdom! We have a lunch scheduled at the Crystal Palace at 1. I love Pooh pooh: :tigger: and Tigger!

12/9- Today I have no parks scheduled. I’m being flexible, right? I did plan our dinner, though. I’ve heard enough about Boma (7) that I really have to try it! I figure Veggiegirl will appreciate this as well. Not sure about GrumpyGrampy though!:earboy2:

:goodvibes 12/10- We have to move from our home at the Boardwalk to our second home at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. I have a late breakie scheduled at Chef Mickey:smickey: , since it will only be a boat ride away. And supper is complete with a piano player and a banjo picker… Six bits and all the rest… It’s the Hoop-Dee-Doo…Hoop-Dee-Doo…:dance3:

My family is corny enough that this IS us. Rib lovin, warshboard players with a taste for some of Mom’s Straw-Berry-Short-Cake!

Wouldn’t you love to be able to bang pots down on the table full of food at dinner time like the waitstaff here? Good times, people!!!:woohoo:

Oh wait…where was I?:goodvibes

The handy-dandy schedule. Oh right.

12/11- Today we are celebrating with Mickey! It’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!:santa: We will partake of much hot chocolate and cookies, complete with soap bubbles floating through the air. Before we go to Mickey’s party, we have a 5:00 dinner scheduled at the Whispering Canyon Café. Oh yes, unsuspecting Stitchboy… Mom is going to make sure you have fries with your meal. I know you can’t eat fries without Ketchup…

12/12- Another Epcot day on the Horizon…We will Journey into the Imagination of the imagineers, viewing the entire Universe of Energy that is before us. Our Test will Track a Mission to Space while riding a Spaceship called Earth. And let us not forget we will be both Living With The Land and Seas (with Nemo!).

Heh…

We will cap all this fun with a delicious, delectable trip to Canada, courtesy of Le Cellier. Normally, most Le Celliers in Canada contain boxes of old clothing, sporting goods, seasonable paraphernalia, and other bric-a-brac. However, this Le Cellier contains a wonderful collection of steaks! I am also going to try the Ice Wine this year, after reading so many reports of its yummy goodness! Our reservation is at 6:00. (This was booked at 180 days + 8)

We did go to Le Cellier during our last trip, but it doesn’t hold a very fond memory for me. Let me explain, dear readers. It seems that on every trip, Stitchboy’s touchy tummy revolts on him. During our last visit, he chose Le Cellier as the place to get sick. Oh dear… I spent quite a bit of time in the bathroom, and then we beat a hasty retreat back to our room. Needless to say, cold steak in a box back in the room just isn’t the same!!!

12/13- Our last full day at the World. I have no planned parks, so that we can catch anything we missed that day. I have an 8:00 dinner planned at the Concourse Steakhouse. I figure this is late enough that it shouldn’t get in the way of our plans.

12/14- Go home day. How sad! Our flight is at 3 PM, so we should be able to have a nice late breakfast before we leave. I think we might sneak over to Captain Cooks to sneak in a Tonga Toast for the road. I was so excited to hear that you no longer have to go to the Kona Café to get this treat! As this meal will probably be OOP, the cheaper, the better!

So...Now you know!

And, I thank you very graciously for sharing this with me. It's so nice to have others out there who share in my Mickey obsession! :goodvibes

Joining in!! We are going about the same time as you! I can't wait for Christmas time at WDW, I loved the pictures you posted!!

:yay: I just found your pre-trip report and am loving it! My DH and I are going to be at WDW from 12/18 through 1/1 and can't wait! We've never gone during this time of year and we'll be celebrating our anniversary. I love reading a pre-trip report from someone who's gone during that time of year before. My DH and I loved the pics you posted (yes, I'm blessed with a Disney loving DH:goodvibes). I can't wait to read more. Your itinerary looks great. Hopefully, when I get back from my trip, you'll be well on your way into your post-trip report.

To all of you who I know from all the other :santa: December :santa: pre-trip reports, HI!

Looks like we have both planned to be at MGM on the 7th of Dec. Maybe we will bump into eacother, I will be the one with the biggest smile on her face.
