My husband and I are thinking about going down for a week at the end of May and are wondering how busy it will be. We know we're in for a shock since the last time we went was in January, when it was really slow. But is it super-busy??? How long are the waits usually??? And how's the weather???

We were surprised it is pretty busy, especially the Magic Kingdom. The other parks are ok. Remember the last weekend in May is Memorial weekend this year. That weekend tends to be a busy time also. And it is Gay Weekend. We had no problem with this, and you won't even know it, unless you are a people watcher.

Good luck, maybe you want to move your vacation to the Middle of May.

Me and my wife will be at wdw from the 24th to 31st again this year. This will be our 14th trip at this time of year and other than Memorial Day, we don't consider the crowds to be very bad at all.

So you think it won't be terrible? We're arriving Sunday the 23rd and leaving the Sat of Memorial Day weekend. I am sure that Friday the 28th will be busy due to some taking a long weekend etc.. but do you think it will be busy but not overwhelming from Sunday through Thursday? Thanks!

Nancy

Five years ago I went at the end of May and I don't remember it being too crowded. Don't get me wrong there were crowds and some of the buses leaving the park back to the resort (CRB) were standing room only but other than that it was fine. I for one like to see people when I'm in Disney World, it creates a more party atmosphere. On my honeymoon (12 years ago) I went in the beginning of March and it was nice, but it was too cold to go swimming (so I rather go in May).

Good Luck and have fun.

We'll be there May 22-25 after cruisin' on the Magic and I noticed we had no trouble at all getting Priority Seating and we also switched our resort from the BCV to AKL with no trouble, even getting connecting rooms.
